Job summary

VIA is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to unite data engineering with DevOps, emphasizing cloud-native infrastructure, pipelines, and observability. You’ll design multi-tenant storage, ensure security, and enable scalable data workflows across teams.

You’ll collaborate with data, development, and client delivery professionals to push AI-enabled analytics while maintaining high reliability and performance across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data-driven role.
• Bachelor's or Master's in science, mathematics, engineering, or a data-driven field.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
• Experience architecting scalable relational and non-relational (SQL/NoSQL) schemas.
• Hands-on with AWS data services (RDS, Aurora, Lambda) or Azure equivalents, plus IaC tooling (Terraform/Helm).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and data orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect & provision secure data infrastructure with IaC (Terraform/Helm).
• Engineer and deploy data pipelines for real-time and batch processing with CI/CD.
• Monitor and optimize data infrastructure and performance.
• Support application workflows by troubleshooting queries and pipeline logic.
• Drive data governance, integrity, and security best practices across teams.
• Operationalize AI models through MLOps, versioning, containerization, and deployment.
