Bold Orange is seeking a Lead Data Engineer focused on Snowflake to own end-to-end data platform solutions for clients. You will design data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines while leading architecture decisions and collaborating with architects, engineers, and client teams.

You will implement Snowflake-based ETL pipelines, optimize performance and costs, and build REST APIs in Python/C#.NET to support production data flows. Occasional travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with data engineering focus.
• Proven ownership of technical solutions for accounts or teams.
• Deep Snowflake expertise with data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Ownership of data model or platform design from requirements through production.
• Experience leading discovery and shaping technical solutions with clients.
• Ability to estimate work at system and project levels.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical solution and provide oversight from discovery through production and support.
• Lead discovery and intake requirements directly from clients; present solutions and trade-offs.
• Architect data models, warehouses, and pipelines in Snowflake for performance, scalability and cost.
• Develop and tune SQL and transformations in Snowflake and relational DBs (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Own Snowflake performance, governance, and cost management across accounts.
• Build and maintain back-end APIs in Python and C#/.NET to feed Snowflake.
