Job summary

Kastle Systems is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with proven people management experience to lead data and analytics across ERP/CRM platforms and the cloud data stack. You will design scalable pipelines, evolve our data lake/warehouse, and enable real-time dashboards while mentoring a small team.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into data solutions, enforce governance, and drive data quality and security in a SOC 2/GDPR context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with data modeling and warehouse design.
• Hands-on with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Proficiency in streaming/event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Experience with ERP/CRM data migrations and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting access events, device telemetry, and identity data.
• Evolve our cloud data platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) including data lake and warehouse.
• Build real-time pipelines for live dashboards and alerting.
• Lead data migrations and data governance across ERP/CRM systems.
• Mentor a team of 3–6 data/analytics engineers.
