Job summary

Ruxlo is seeking a data engineer who thinks like an architect to own the data platform end to end. You will design and evolve the layered model (bronze/silver/gold), ensure strong data quality, and lead lakehouse execution for analytics and product features.

You’ll work on a hybrid data stack in a growing proptech context, with emphasis on scalable, transparent pipelines and AI-assisted tooling to boost data quality and insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering building production data pipelines.
• Strong command of data modeling: 3NF and star schemas for analytics.
• Hands-on with medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold).
• Experience with lakehouse concepts, Delta/Iceberg/Hudi or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for pipelines and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the data model end-to-end from raw landing to gold.
• Run the lakehouse architecture and ensure fast, cost-efficient access.
• Model for product and analytics with clear grain and keys.
• Own transformation as code with lineage and tests.
• Guard data quality with contracts, tests, and monitoring.
• Serve modeled data through well-documented tables and contracts.
• Partner with data ingestion to ensure clean landings into layers.
