Job summary

RIVO Holdings, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to architect and build a modern data platform powering analytics, ML, and real-time processing.

You will own platform strategy, design scalable data warehouses or lakehouses, and guide cross-functional teams in Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Data Science to deliver trusted data products. This is an on-site role requiring hands-on leadership and deep technical expertise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Warehousing or Data Platform Engineering.
• Support analytics and data science workloads, including ML pipelines.
• Design modern Data Warehouses or Data Lakes with governance.
• Experience with CDC/incremental processing and ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a modern data platform architecture (warehouse/lakehouse).
• Develop target-state architecture for analytics, reporting, and data science.
• Modernize legacy ETL-driven processes and ensure scalability.
• Define ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers.
• Build CDC-based ingestion and near real-time pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others.
