Job summary

AnewHealth in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to maintain complex data systems and deliver improvements for our Pharmacy Benefit Management clients. You will work with peer engineers and business stakeholders in an Agile environment, applying best practices for healthcare data compliance.

Responsibilities include designing and delivering data solutions, optimizing SQL/ETL processes, and collaborating with Product Owners to plan future development while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study preferred.
• Extensive SQL, data warehousing, and OLAP experience.
• Healthcare data familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and drive delivery.
• Design, develop and deliver data solutions to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to evaluate current systems and plan future work.
• Test, debug, and enhance code, processes, and reports.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and indexing.
• Provide technical specifications and mentor team members.
• Research new technologies and integrate with cloud and product infrastructure.
