Roblox is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in the Growth Org to build the data foundation behind our marketing measurement and growth flywheel. You will design, build and operate batch and streaming pipelines unifying marketing data with in-platform user behavior to enable MMM and multi-touch attribution.

You will partner with Marketing, Data Science and Product to define metrics, backfill datasets, and ensure data quality and privacy at scale across Roblox.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of industry experience building scalable batch and streaming pipelines using SQL and Python, PySpark or Scala.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) and large-scale data processing (Spark, Flink, Kafka).
• Strong data modeling skills with dimensional or event-based models used daily.
• Experience partnering with business and data science to build durable data products.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure) and lakehouse/warehouse tech.
• Comfort with CI/CD, testing and monitoring of data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and operate batch and streaming pipelines unifying paid, owned and organic marketing data with in-platform behavior.
• Own data foundation for MMM with well-documented, versioned datasets and backfills for model training.
• Partner with Marketing and Data Science to build attribution and funnel data products and metrics.
• Architect event taxonomies and logging standards; influence instrumentation across surfaces.
• Integrate with ad channels and measurement partners while ensuring data quality and privacy.
• Set standards for table design, observability and lineage used across Growth and Marketing.
• Support experimentation and incrementality work by enabling joinable data to spend and outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Data Engineering and ML Platform teams to share tooling.
• Collaborate with Roblox teams to uphold privacy and safety in measurement approaches.
