CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytical capabilities. You will model core data domains and collaborate with data scientists to support analytics and ML workloads.

The role emphasizes hands-on data engineering, best practices, and scalable data infrastructure. The position focuses on building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing performance, and ensuring data quality and governance in a cloud environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of applicable work experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to develop complex queries
• Experience in Python, specifically with ETL pipelines
• Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and product owners

Responsabilidades

• Data Modeling & Architecture: Develop and optimize data models and schemas for analytics, reporting, and ML requirements
• Data Pipeline Development: Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large datasets from multiple sources
• Performance Optimization: Tune performance, partitioning, and clustering to optimize data queries and costs
• Data Quality & Governance: Establish data quality standards and security policies for data storage and access
• Data Integration & Transformation: Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design data solutions integrated with BI tools and ML models
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation for pipelines and mentor junior data engineers
• Design and architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads with data warehousing concepts and data marts
