Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead data engineering and the development lifecycle across diverse projects. You will work with data scientists, engineers, and developers to ensure scalable ETL pipelines and reliable data infrastructure.

As an employee-owned firm with a strong ESOP program, you’ll collaborate across teams in a hybrid environment and contribute to projects impacting critical infrastructure globally.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Ten years related experience (minimum).
• Onboarding and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate projects into production.
• Champion Agile practices across internal teams.
• Troubleshoot data development, deployment, and operations issues.
• Develop ETL solutions and data infrastructure enhancements.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows and lifecycle.
