Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead data infrastructure, ETL, and data architecture efforts across multiple projects. You will collaborate with engineers and data scientists to ensure reliable data pipelines, scalable solutions, and governance across the data lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has hands-on data development experience, strong SQL skills, and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). A flexible, hybrid work model is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Ten years of related experience.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams to integrate projects into production.
• Be an Agile champion and promote Agile ideals.
• Troubleshoot data development, deployment, and operations issues.
• Build engineering automation to scale applications in production.
• Monitor and maintain Data Engineering and Data Development Lifecycle.
