Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Sr Data Engineer to build, operate, and scale the governed data foundation for Operations in North America. The role focuses on production-ready pipelines, curated datasets, and AI-ready data products to support reporting and AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for building data pipelines and PySpark transformations.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and data quality checks.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake Gen2.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines on Azure.
• Develop batch and incremental pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Create curated lakehouse/semantic-model inputs for governance and AI-ready data products.
• Perform SQL- and Spark-based transformations for enterprise reporting and AI-ready consumption.
• Collaborate with IT Global, solution build teams, and data governance to ensure secure, reusable data products.
