Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Denver, CO seeks a Sr Data Engineer to build and scale the governed data foundation for Operations, North America. You will deliver production-ready pipelines, curated datasets, and AI-ready data products that support reporting and AI insights.

As part of the Data Engineering & BI team, you will collaborate with IT Global, solution build teams, and data governance partners to ensure secure, reusable data assets aligned with enterprise AI direction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5–8 years of data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical data experience.
Proficiency in Python for data pipelines and PySpark-based transformations.
Strong SQL, ETL/ELT understanding, and production support practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines on Azure.
Develop batch and incremental pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Spark transformations.
Create and maintain SQL views, tables, and semantic-model inputs for analytics.
Prepare datasets for AI-enabled use cases with documented business rules and lineage.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and quality.
Collaborate with IT Global, data governance, and business stakeholders in Agile sprints.
