Job summary

Healthie is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of our data warehouse and analytics platform. You will enable enterprise access to data, enforce strict isolation, and partner with teams to build scalable models and dashboards.

You will drive data quality, observability, and compliance, collaborating across engineering, support, and customer success to empower our growing customer base. This is a hybrid role at our NYC HQ.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience in data and infrastructure.
• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL/Snowflake.
• Implemented database access control (RBAC, row/column security).
• Operated production data pipelines and diagnosed CDC failures.
• Familiar with Terraform IaC and scripting in Ruby/SQL.
• Experience with HIPAA-regulated data and PHI isolation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and scaling of data warehouse and analytics platform.
• Enforce isolation model and access guarantees at the database layer.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and customer success to automate and harden systems.
• Improve data quality, observability, and compliance across pipelines.
• Accelerate enterprise onboarding with trusted reporting and dashboards.
