Job summary

Ambience Healthcare is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines, modeling, and governance for a healthcare AI platform. You will enable trusted analytics by delivering scalable, validated data for cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and GTM.

You’ll work in a hybrid SF office with a focus on reliability, observability, and data quality, partnering across clinical and business stakeholders to drive better decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a production Data Engineering role.
• Snowflake data modeling and warehouse administration experience.
• Strong SQL skills and Python proficiency.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, or warehouses in cloud environments.
• Solid data validation, schema design, and scalable architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the Trust Layer: build/run pipelines ingesting data at scale with validated, accurate metrics.
• Enable insights across teams by designing dashboards and analytics to guide decisions.
• Support scalable infrastructure including governance, RBAC, and orchestration.
• Automate data ingestion workflows with file-based pipelines and robust validation.
• Establish validation & transformation pipelines using Python/TypeScript and SQL/dbt.
• Deliver governed, trusted analytics with self-service access for all employees.
