Job summary

Encore Finance is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the data platform architecture, drive pipelines across multiple systems, and enable trusted dashboards and APIs for reporting and analytics. The role requires close collaboration with investors and leadership, with the COO reporting line.

Located in NYC (Mid-town) or Hollywood, FL, this hands-on IC role combines technical direction with execution, focusing on data ingestion, quality, and automation to support business growth.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of data engineering experience with ownership of production pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for integrations and data quality checks.
• Experience designing and operating a cloud data warehouse or database platform.
• Able to deliver projects from requirements to deployment and support.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform architecture, roadmap, and scalable infrastructure.
• Build and maintain data pipelines across Zoho CRM, Azure, SharePoint, and other sources.
• Create consistent data models with point-in-time reporting capabilities.
• Develop ingestion and extraction tools with validation and human review for uncertain results.
