Zusammenfassung

Sound Income Group seeks a Data Engineer, AI & Automation to modernize data infrastructure, reporting, and workflows. You will own backend data engineering and AI automation, integrating data from custodians, trading platforms, and reporting systems while building reliable tools used daily by the team.

Reporting to the CTO, you will work on production AI using Claude and MCP integrations, leveraging Snowflake Cortex, Bedrock, and Vertex AI to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in backend, data-intensive, or workflow automation systems.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and Python for data modeling, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience integrating Claude into production business applications.
• Experience with MCP integrations and managed model platforms (Snowflake Cortex, Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Demonstrated ownership of production LLM-powered functionality and agentic workflows.
• Experience handling sensitive data in regulated environments; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate operational needs into practical, maintainable tools and communicate clearly.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain backend data pipelines, integrations, and data models in Snowflake to support accurate, accessible operational data.
• Integrate and reconcile information from custodians and trading platforms with portfolio reporting systems.
• Analyze source data, validate, reconcile, and ensure quality for reporting and downstream apps.
• Translate data into useful business outputs and validate dashboards, reports, and app functionality.
• Build and deploy backend services and automations to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop production AI functionality using Claude for document retrieval, extraction, and understanding.
• Implement MCP integrations linking AI apps to approved tools and data sources with human review.
• Use platform services like Snowflake Cortex, Bedrock, Vertex AI to support practical applications.
• Own solutions end-to-end from requirements through testing, deployment, and user adoption.
• Monitor data pipelines and AI workflows; troubleshoot, optimize performance and costs.
• Enforce access controls and safeguards for sensitive data in collaboration with CTO and Compliance.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams and external partners; maintain clear documentation.
