Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. You will ensure reliable data flows, build pipelines, and collaborate across IT, product, and analytics teams to support diverse data initiatives.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with SQL, data warehousing, and cloud data services. A US citizenship requirement is noted for contractual access and compliance. Office- or remote-based work options are available.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable systems.
5 years of experience in a data engineering, ETL development, or data management role.
5 years of experience in SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
5 years of experience in data warehousing concepts and with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data processes to move and transform data across systems.
Develop and maintain data models, databases, and warehouses for BI and analytics.
Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, and business teams to meet data needs.
Monitor progress against schedule and report issues to lead developers.
