FIS in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable data solutions across cloud and legacy platforms. You will collaborate with product, analytics, architecture, and operations teams to translate requirements into dependable data systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with SQL, DBT, Snowflake, Python, and Spark, plus familiarity with AWS data services, IBM DataStage, and mainframe data including COBOL copybooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL query development and optimization.
• DBT and Snowflake experience.
• Python and Apache Spark data-processing experience.
• AWS data services and cloud deployment.
• Knowledge of IBM DataStage and enterprise data integration.
• Familiarity with COBOL copybooks and mainframe data formats.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Build and optimize DBT models and Snowflake workloads.
• Develop data-processing apps with Python and Spark.
• Integrate data from cloud, relational, and mainframe sources.
• Modernize IBM DataStage workflows while migrating to the cloud.
• Apply version control, CI/CD, tests, and docs.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, architecture, and operations teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability.
