Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts and data scientists. You will design, integrate and implement on-premise and cloud data platforms, focusing on processing payer files into the Data Warehouse.

The role requires strong SQL, Python and PySpark skills, plus experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and on-prem tools (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years in Cloud Data Engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years in on-prem Data Engineering platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark for cloud/on-prem warehousing services.
• Hands-on with dimensional data modeling, schema design and data warehousing.
• Troubleshooting data issues and applying performance improvements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
