CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver modern data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will design and implement on-premise and cloud-based data pipelines, processing payer files into our Data Warehouse and enabling migrations to cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in SQL and data warehousing, strong Python/PySpark skills, and hands-on experience with dimensional modeling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years in cloud data engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years in on-prem data engineering platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling and schema design.
• Experience troubleshooting data issues and applying performance improvements.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
• Design, integrate, and implement data solutions on-premise and support migrations to the cloud.
• Process payer files into the Data Warehouse.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
