Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will design, integrate, and implement on-prem data systems while supporting cloud migrations and payer data processing for our Data Warehouse.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and PySpark skills, plus experience with cloud platforms and on-prem data warehousing. Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems.
• 2+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake etc.
• 2+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.
• Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Troubleshooting data issues.
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and best practices; ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality modern data solutions through collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
• Design, integrate and implement data solutions on-premise and assist migrations to the cloud.
• Process payer files into our Data Warehouse and support ongoing data warehousing needs.
