Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, data science, and product teams to deliver high‑quality data pipelines and support migrations to the cloud.

The role focuses on processing payer files into our Data Warehouse, with emphasis on scalable data models, performance tuning, and reliability in a fast-paced health‑tech setting. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS.
• 2+ years in Cloud Data Engineering platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure / Databricks / Snowflake).
• 2+ years in on-prem Data Engineering platforms (SQL Server / Oracle / Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python and PySpark for data warehousing services.
• Hands-on with dimensional data modeling and data warehousing.
• Troubleshooting data issues and performance tuning experience.
• Willingness to implement process improvements in a fast-paced team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
