Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, designing and integrating on-prem and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.

You will work with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams to reimagine healthcare data processing, including payer files into our Data Warehouse, and to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 3+ years of experience with on-prem Data Engineering Platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming/modifying code in SQL, Python, PySpark for cloud/on-prem warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues.
• Willingness to implement process improvements and work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
• Design, integrate, and implement on-prem and cloud data warehousing solutions; support migrations to the cloud.
