Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, integrate and implement modern data solutions. You will work with engineering, analytics, data science and product teams to deliver high quality data services in a fast-paced environment.

You will help migrate workloads to the cloud and manage on-premise data warehousing initiatives, including processing payer data into the Data Warehouse.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS.
• 2+ years of Cloud Data Engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years on-prem data engineering platforms (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python and PySpark for cloud and on-prem warehousing.
• Hands-on dimensional modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on data issue troubleshooting.
• Experience with performance improvements techniques.
• Ability to own work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and implement data solutions on-premise and cloud migrations.
• Deliver high quality data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analytics, data science and product teams.
• Process payer files into the Data Warehouse as part of a dedicated data engineering team.
