Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will design and implement modern data pipelines, integrating cloud and on‑prem workloads while migrating workloads to the cloud as needed.

In this role you will work with engineering, analytics and product teams to build scalable data warehousing solutions, optimize performance, and troubleshoot data issues.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS
• 2+ years of Cloud Data Engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
• 2+ years of on-prem Data Engineering platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark for cloud and on-prem warehousing
• Hands-on with dimensional modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
• Troubleshooting data issues and performance optimization
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to drive process improvements in a fast-paced team
