Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, integrate, and implement modern data solutions. You will collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams to move workloads to the cloud and support on‑prem data warehousing.

You will build scalable data pipelines for payer files, apply dimensional modeling, and troubleshoot data issues while contributing to a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with SQL and relational database management systems.
• 2+ years in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
• 2+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata.
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark to support Cloud-based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues.
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and best practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
