Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS, Math or related field or 4+ yrs equivalent data engineering exp.
• 5+ years in data engineering or software development.
• 3+ years in Python or Java; read/modify in both languages.
• 2+ years building data pipelines in Azure (ADF, Databricks).
• 1+ year using AI-assisted development tools like Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design data ingestion patterns to migrate legacy warehouse to lakehouse.
• Develop data-sharing solutions for consumers with scalable pipelines.
• Build automated data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Use dbt for transformations following Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Collaborate with teams to meet security, scalability, performance standards.
