Job summary

Seattle Children's seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines connecting diverse data sources for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. You will leverage cloud platforms to move and transform data securely, working in an Agile team to deliver incremental design and deployment.

The role focuses on reliable, scalable data engineering solutions across systems. Preferred candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, experience with Spark, Airflow, and GCP, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in technology/data engineering.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure.
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization for large-scale DBs.
• Experience with Spark or Spark-SQL and Airflow.
• Cloud experience, preferably GCP, and BigQuery.
• Experience in SDLC, requirements, architecture, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools.
• Experience creating stored procedures and dimensional data models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Develop data processing infrastructure in cloud environments.
