Job summary

Curium Pharma seeks an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data platforms, and analytical data products. You will collaborate with data architects, scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver trusted data for analytics, reporting, ML, and operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong cloud platform experience (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Azure) and a solid background in data modeling and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and database development skills.
• Production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and cloud storage.
• Strong data modeling, warehouses, lakes, or lakehouses understanding.
• Git, CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Build reliable ETL/ELT processes for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, SaaS, files, and event streams.
• Develop cloud-based data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions.
• Work with Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Spark, SQL, and cloud storage.
• Implement reusable data engineering frameworks, patterns, and standards.
• Support data platform modernization and migration initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
