First American is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and deployment of modern data platforms for advanced analytics. You will collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and analysts to ensure scalable data delivery across projects.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience, strong SQL/T-SQL skills, and hands-on experience with ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and NoSQL databases. A cloud-enabled, data-driven mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–8 years of directly related experience.
• Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies.
• Proficient in SQL and T-SQL programming.
• Experience building data/ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
• Expertise in data modeling, database maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of modern cloud computing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and key initiatives as a data expert in the department.
• Design, develop, test, and document architectures and applications.
• Automate manual processes and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
