Authentic Insurance is a high-growth insurtech building the AI-native data platform for underwriting and claims. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the data platform from the ground up, designing the warehouse architecture and pipelines.

You will lead zero-to-one infrastructure builds, establish technical standards and data governance, and ensure high data quality in a rapidly scaling, highly regulated business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and maintaining production data infrastructure.
• 3+ years with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow or similar.
• Proven ability to own data platforms in high-growth startups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of production data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Architect the data warehouse for performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, data governance, and lineage tracking.
