As a Senior Data Engineer, you will own the data platform from the ground up, designing the warehouse architecture and pipelines that power underwriting and claims. What You Will Do

• Lead the design and implementation of production data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow to power underwriting models and operational reporting.
• Architect the data warehouse to balance high-performance analytical needs with long-term scalability and strict regulatory compliance requirements.
• Develop comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and data governance frameworks, including lineage tracking and access controls, to ensure high data quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate

• At least 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining production data infrastructure, with deep proficiency in Python for data processing.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on expertise with the modern data stack, specifically Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow (or similar orchestration tools).
• Proven track record of high agency and ownership, ideally having built data platforms from scratch within a high-growth startup environment.
