Job summary

NBME is seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing team of data engineers and BI developers. You will build data lakes, data pipelines, and scalable solutions on AWS to support analytics, AI/ML, and business decisions.

The role offers flexible work options—remote, hybrid, or onsite—with potential onsite interviews in Philadelphia. Candidates should have 3+ years in data engineering/warehousing, strong Python and AWS experience, and a CS degree.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
Minimum 3 years of Data Engineering and Data Warehousing experience.
2+ years of Python experience and 1+ year with AWS services (S3/Redshift).
Experience with data integration tools (Informatica, Boomi, Fivetran, MS Integration Services, Sqoop).
Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, HBase).

Responsibilities

Participates in requirements gathering and designs data architectures.
Work in an agile scrum team to deliver sprint goals.
Build automated, scalable, test-driven data pipelines.
Ensure data quality and data security across platforms.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps, and architects for DataOps improvements.
Develop data products using BI and analytics tools.
