Job summary

Homes.com, a CoStar Group company, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Arlington, VA to accelerate growth. You will build out sitewide tracking architecture and deliver data dashboards to track performance and product usage.

Expect to work across departments to provide insights, support AI-driven initiatives, and evolve data infrastructure. The role requires 6+ years of data engineering experience, strong Python/PySpark/SQL skills, and cloud platforms experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Solid foundation in OOP principles and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee dimensional modeling, database design, and cloud data platform structures.
• Develop data platform framework for data warehouses and data lakes using Medallion Architecture.
• Build scalable data pipelines and ETL processes with Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS.
• Implement and optimize Spark jobs and data transformations.
• Mentor engineers and analysts; collaborate with DBA/DevOps for data access.
