Job summary

CoStar Group’s Homes.com team seeks a Senior Analytics Data Engineer to design and scale end-to-end data infrastructure, transforming raw data into high-quality datasets powering internal insights and customer-facing product experiences.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable pipelines, define data strategy, and deliver scalable BI solutions; productionize models with ML/LLM integrations and improve data quality across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
• 2+ years of experience with data engineering tools, pipeline creation and management.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and data warehouse solutions (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and familiarity with AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and deployment of automated data infrastructure and production data pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and software teams to define tracking strategy and data requirements; build data transformation scripts.
• Develop data quality and pipeline monitoring procedures for data accuracy and completeness.
• Design warehouse architecture, tables, schemas and processes to support analytical and front-end use cases.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver access to analytics.
• Lead business analysis to help stakeholders access and interpret data and understand business implications.
• Develop scalable BI solutions in Power BI on curated datasets to enable self-service analytics.
• Apply analytics and data science techniques to curate datasets and power front-end experiences.
• Partner with Data Science and ML teams to productionize models and scale advanced use cases including LLM applications.
