GSK is seeking a Senior Data Engineer – Enterprise AI (EAI) to lead the design of production data systems and establish architectural, quality and governance standards. You will mentor engineers, drive data infrastructure for AI initiatives and collaborate with ML teams to shape data lifecycles.

This hybrid role is based in the United States and involves working with cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data eng or related field.
• 8+ years data engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience leading AI-grade data infrastructure.
• Experience with data warehouses/lakehouses and orchestration frameworks (Databricks, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, Spark).

Aufgaben

• Lead the design of production data pipelines serving multiple downstream consumers and define architectural standards.
• Define team patterns for agent-generated work and governance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to improve capability and confidence.
• Collaborate with ML engineers on evaluation datasets and data quality practices.
• Lead data lifecycle management and IaC adoption across the team.
