Job summary

GSK is hiring a Staff Data Engineer for Enterprise AI (EAI) in the United States with a hybrid work model. You will own the governed context layer, defining architecture standards and governance policies for AI pipelines, enabling human and digital workers to work on safe, scalable data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of data engineering experience, including data architecture for production AI/ML systems, and building AI data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evolve the governed context layer as a product across enterprise data and AI systems.
• Define architecture standards and shared frameworks for agent-generated engineering work.
• Lead data governance, privacy, PII handling and auditability in AI pipelines.
• Shape data infrastructure strategy including feature stores, vector databases and retrieval systems.
