Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Generally 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in data engineering languages and tools; ability to develop on multiple platforms.
• Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on contributor in the Public Markets squad, collaborating with Product Owner, Tech Lead, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Design and run automated, high-performance data pipelines on Snowflake and AWS for market and vendor data at scale.
• Develop data models behind scalable products powering analytics and applications used in investment decisions with AI-first mindset.
• Implement testing practices, including unit tests and regression testing, with shared quality standards and data governance.
• Apply AI-powered data engineering to speed up building, testing, and operating pipelines with guardrails and human review.
• Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices to improve squad delivery and quality.
