Liberty Mutual Investments is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer for the Public Markets Agile Squad in Boston. You will lead the design and delivery of real-time trading and market data systems, partnering with Product Owners and solution engineers to balance speed, resilience and security.

The role emphasizes low-latency, event-driven architectures, API-first approaches, and AI-assisted tools within modern cloud-native stacks on AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering in agile environments.
• Experience building real-time trading, execution, order management, or market data systems for institutional investors preferred.
• Deep understanding of distributed, low-latency, fault-tolerant architectures.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for real-time trading and market data platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
• Set engineering standards and guide architecture decisions.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
