Job summary

JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Sector is seeking a Software Engineer III to contribute to an agile data engineering team building a trusted Global KYC and Risk Assessment Data Platform. You will develop secure production code, design scalable services, and leverage AI-assisted tools to improve quality, speed, and security.

You will collaborate across teams, apply knowledge of cloud and data technologies, and communicate effectively with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Expert in one or more programming languages, particularly Python and/or Java.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with demonstrated ability to evaluate and refine outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Practical cloud-native experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Develops secure, high-quality production code for data-intensive applications.
• Creates reusable software frameworks and patterns used across teams.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards.
