Job summary

FCP, a Federated Hermes, Inc. subsidiary, is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join its Washington, DC team. You will design AI-assisted data pipelines, semantic models, and Power BI reports to support investment decisions and operations.

You will build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory and Python, develop automated financial data analysis workflows that leverage AI/ML, and govern data sources within Fabric lakehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science with strong academics.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience deploying data solutions on cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• At least 2 years of relevant data analytics work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Python and associated data libraries.
• At least 2 years of experience with databases and queries.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-assisted data pipelines, semantic models, and Power BI reports to support investment decisions and operations.
• Build, automate, and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory and Python.
• Develop automated financial data analysis workflows and reporting solutions that leverage AI and machine learning capabilities.
• Integrate and govern disparate financial and operational data sources within FCP’s Microsoft Fabric lakehouse environment.
• Lead data quality, reconciliation, and lineage initiatives across investment, financial, and asset management datasets.
