Job summary

Rula is seeking a data engineering professional to empower analytics teams by building scalable data pipelines and governance for AI-enabled workflows. This role is remote-first and collaborates with analytics, marketing, and product teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions.

You will own end-to-end data infrastructure, ensure security and reliability, and help scale data access across the company to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data models, and data platforms.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and delivering solutions with stakeholders.
• Experience driving projects from design through production deployment and support.
• Experience implementing data security, governance, or access control for sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with analytics, marketing, and product teams to understand data needs and build systems for AI access to trusted data at scale.
• Define standards, infrastructure, and governance that power AI-driven experiences across the company.
• Ensure data remains reliable, secure, and easy to use to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
