Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Senior Data Engineering Specialist to help remediate technical incidents and data quality issues in our enterprise MDM system. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure tools and services (e.g., AWS).
• 2+ years of experience utilizing AI-driven tools or automation technologies.
• 2+ years of experience adhering to data security protocols and handling sensitive data.
• 1+ years of experience in technical support, IT incident management, or data operations support.
• 1+ years of experience utilizing incident tracking/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the remediation of technical incidents and data quality issues as directed by technical support leadership.
• Perform initial triage of incidents, gathering diagnostic information for swift resolution.
• Utilize ServiceNow to log, track, document, and update incidents with accurate documentation.
• Support maintenance and monitoring of cloud infrastructure using AWS tools under supervision.
• Follow enterprise protocols to ensure compliance with data security standards when handling sensitive information.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline support workflows, automate tasks, and drive improvements.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions addressing support challenges with responsible AI usage.
• Evaluate emerging tech trends to inform design and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data engineering and support teams to implement best practices in data engineering and incident management.
• Communicate effectively and elevate complex issues to senior staff as needed.
