Job summary

Allied Benefit Systems is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and own the data infrastructure powering analytics, ML, and AI across the enterprise. You will own ingestion, storage, transformation, and reporting for the AI team in a remote-capable environment.

You will develop scalable data pipelines, integrate internal and external data sources, and support Power BI and future reporting assets while aligning with data governance and security in healthcare contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of data engineering, software engineering, or related experience.
• Experience with healthcare data environments and reporting.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; API integrations and ETL/ELT design.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop integrations with internal/external data sources, APIs, databases.
• Own data movement and orchestration across Azure, Snowflake, and data lake/warehouse.
• Create semantic models, curated datasets, and reporting-ready data products.
• Partner with analytics stakeholders to ensure high-quality data for reporting and ML.
