Job summary

Rhino + Jetty is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead a small team and shape the data platform. The role splits roughly 60% hands-on work and 40% leadership, building robust data pipelines and setting technical standards.

You will own the data warehouse to dashboards, partner with Risk for actuarial reporting, and drive a self-service analytics culture across the company.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and owning production data pipelines, in a high-velocity environment.
• Experience leading a small data team as a player-coach.
• Background in fintech or insurtech with financial product reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a nimble data team of three, setting technical bar and contributing to the hardest problems.
• Own the data pipeline from warehouse to dashboards and external reporting.
• Drive data infrastructure decisions and vendor selections in partnership with the CTO.
