Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Domain Architect III to lead enterprise data architecture across the Data Engineering, Analytics & Governance organization. You will shape capability roadmaps, design scalable cloud-native solutions on Azure Databricks, and drive architectural outcomes aligned with security and governance standards.

The role requires strong communication skills and experience with architecture frameworks, collaborating with business and technology partners to deliver trusted data products

Qualifications

• Seven or more years’ experience in a software development, technical infrastructure, or general technology environment or equivalent experience in a business area to provide relevant expertise as it relates to technology implementations.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, end users across a variety of business units, technology professionals, and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Define business capability roadmaps in partnership with key business leaders, coordinating with technical roadmaps and programs.
• Lead functional and technical discussions and communicate effectively with varied audiences.
• Collaborate with business groups, technology groups, and subject matter experts to build constructive relationships.
• Design solutions leveraging Clayton’s portfolio and enterprise standards to deliver required capabilities and map to roadmaps.
• Partner with business leadership in design, testing and deployment of changes to ensure meeting requirements and scalability.
• Design and implement solutions addressing enterprise infrastructure needs.
• Analyze system requirements ensuring security and integration with current applications.
• Drive design of key components, frameworks, interfaces, and services for teams of developers or engineers.
