Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Domain Architect III to lead architectural design and delivery within the Data Engineering, Analytics & Governance team. You will collaborate with business owners and technology teams to shape capabilities on the Clayton Data Fabric, ensuring scalable, secure data platforms across Azure and Databricks.

You will drive technical strategy, evaluate new technologies, and mentor engineers while aligning architecture with business goals and security standards.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in software development, infrastructure, or related tech with domain knowledge.
• Proficient in diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart).
• Experience implementing architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication with executives and teams.

Responsibilities

• Define business capability roadmaps with business and tech leaders.
• Lead functional and technical discussions for architecture designs.
• Collaborate with business and technology groups to deliver scalable solutions.
• Design and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions meeting security and integration needs.
• Drive architecture components, frameworks, interfaces, and service designs.
