Senior Data Consulting Analyst (Data Solutions Engineer)
Remote‑hybrid role that serves as a trusted technical expert and advisor to Sales and Client Success teams. The analyst drives strategic initiatives, partners across Product, Order Management, Data Delivery Centers and other cross‑functional teams to design and deliver innovative, scalable data solutions that meet client needs and advance business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical partner during client onboarding and post‑sales engagement, delivering concierge‑level support for high‑profile bulk data clients.
- Evaluate complex, ambiguous requirements and architect scalable solutions balancing client impact, feasibility and risk.
- Investigate product logic, data models and algorithmic workflows to ensure accuracy, integrity and alignment with client objectives.
- Coach and elevate junior analysts through reviews, playbooks and hands‑on guidance; foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Partner with Product, Delivery and Order Management to align on data needs, dependencies and timelines; remove blockers proactively.
- Author detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and extract specifications for advanced custom and standardized data products; perform user acceptance testing to ensure market readiness.
- Confirm specifications with stakeholders and refine designs to improve reliability, performance and client satisfaction.
- Research emerging technologies and best practices; contribute reusable patterns, templates and tooling to enhance delivery and client experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline requiring strong analytical and critical thinking skills (e.g., Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in data‑driven or technical consulting roles, with proven experience working with complex solution designs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify technical complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to translate intricate business requirements into actionable, high‑quality specifications.
- Strong organizational skills; adept at prioritizing multiple high‑impact initiatives and navigating cross‑team dependencies.
- Advanced interpersonal skills for building consensus across cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in SQL; advanced familiarity with Python, Tableau and cloud platforms.
- Ability to analyze and interpret product logic, data models and algorithmic workflows.
- Domain knowledge in the real estate economy (e.g., mortgage servicing, property insurance, credit).
- Understanding of Big Data, Cloud and Machine Learning concepts (preferred).
