Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Data Center Technician III to install hardware into racks, tag assets, cabling, and maintain data center operations. You will document processes and assist with server installations, following SOPs and safety policies under the Site Operations Supervisor.

The role requires 5–8 years of related experience or equivalent education, strong communication, on-call readiness within 1 hour, and knowledge of copper/fiber cabling and data-center best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5–8 years of related experience or training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to respond to On-Call requests within 1 hour.
• Experience cabling systems (power/copper/fiber) per SOP standards.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and decommission hardware including cabinets, racks, and cables.
• Label devices and cables, document processes, and communicate with customers.
• Work under SOPs, policies, and safety requirements while maintaining quality.
