Qualifications

• VA Public Trust background required — High Risk (BI High) / Tier 4.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, structured cabling (CAT6, fiber), and rack/stack.
• Shiftwork may be required.
• Education substitutions per framework may apply (Master's substitutes ~2 years).

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data center compute and systems infrastructure.
• Rack, cable, and decommission IT equipment per standards.
• Triage and resolve ServiceNow tickets within SLAs; escalate as needed.
• Update the CMDB and DCIM records to reflect reality.
• Support planned changes, patch cycles, and after-hours cutovers.
